What's inside

Cut out for adventure

Every hero, monster and boss is an animated paper doll, built from the same skeletal rig and drawn in crisp pixel art.

Explore

A hundred floors down

Every floor is a fresh maze of rooms and hallways. Doors hide pitch-black rooms you light as you go, and the camera follows you into the dark.

Build

Seven races, 25-tier skill trees

Wizard, ogre, skeleton, cleric, elf, knight or dwarf. Each race climbs its own skill tree to signature abilities like Meteor, Ground Slam and Shield Bash.

Fight

100+ monsters, 20 bosses

Skeletons, spiders, vampiresses, trolls and much stranger things, each with its own art and tactics. Bosses like Medusa, the Minotaur and the Cyborg Chicken guard the way down.

Solve

Gates, traps and puzzles

Ring the bells, light the fireplaces, mend the statues and read the runes. Watch out for exploding barrels, poison spikes, falling stalactites and chests with teeth.

Craft

The forge

Fuse three items into one of a higher rarity, all the way up to mythic. Gear wears down as you fight, so keep it mended, and keep an eye out for the wandering merchant.

The story

A different tale every run

Night falls over the kingdom, and a dragon crosses the moon to carry the princess off to the mountain. But its eyes burn with a light no dragon's should hold.

As you descend, the story unfolds in hand-painted pixel-art scenes: a scrap of her gown, words scratched into a cell wall, a sigil burning in the dark. Every run rolls a new princess, a new dragon and one of six overlords pulling the strings, from the Lich to the Clockwork King.

Strike the dragon down and the spell may break. Then the real fight begins.
